July 2008 news: Time for a long vacation, see you in september. :)
However I will work onto NOH Extended Score, but not on the musical tracks.
In the meanwhile this month the last not finished track of NOH Extended Score had a big step toward completing its composition.
The musical video of "Miss You So Much" has been published onto myspacetv (better quality) and youtube (worse quality). Just insert my name and surname in the "search" function of both services and you can find it without any mistake.
Meanwhile NOH: Themes arrived also at iTunes now and is available in iTunes Plus format.

June 2008 news: Again had and still having health problems.
Anyway I finally released "NOH TIS: Themes": today (02 june) is the PRE-release directly from here.
I shipped CD's to CDbaby and done all my part of things to set up the album, so it will be available soon onto CDbaby and iTunes: it's up to them now. Last time they were quick with my albums on both vendors.
This time I restricted/limited the digital distribution of the album to main vendors only.

24 june update: the album arrived at CDbaby just a few days ago (it took a lot to arrive in USA this time. Last week I began to think about the pack was gone lost). It's still under processing for publication on their site.

May 2008 news: Due to a particular illness/sickness, I wasn't able during last month to sit and work at computer and finish the last affairs for the album. Other affairs (not musical) got away also their times and needed efforts..
Now getting better I had the chance to work for the final things for the album, so I will be able to begin to release "NOH TIS Themes" (starting from this site) in a week or less (today is 20th of May).

March 2008 news: Musical and artistical work on "NOH: Themes" seems to be concluded [at last!! :)) ].
The new album is now under final revisions and management phases.
Latest March update: rethinking about the final tracklist, so some change happened..

January 2008 news: Working a lot and hard on first of the two new albums of No Ordinary Human, TIS project.
Working over guitar recording, mixing and also various fixing on already completed compositions.
A new cover graphics is also under producing.
In the meanwhile someone near the vocalist is working on a video for the song "Miss You So Much": we were shown already a promising first demo version. This would be the first musical video for us. :)

November 2007 news: All albums (republished under EAR catalog) are now also on CDbaby.com.
Waiting for next step now.
Update: all of them are already also on iTunes (they were quick): check your local store if interested.
In the meanwhile good news about the creative side for NOH composition: I got on work a new guitarist on the vocal track of the album ("Miss You So Much"), and he is a darn of a good player!
He's italian, but lives in the USA now. He played guitars (on stages and studios) for famous musicians here in Italy long tme ago. There is a chance that he will contribute also on other tracks of album, where guitar parts are present already in the arrangements.
And yes, this will probably delay again the finishing of the two new albums, but anyway it would have been delayed all the same for other matters .

October 2007 news: Due to bureaucratic and technical matters, the release of "No Ordinary Human -TIS" is delayed and will not happen in October as previously planned. I'm sorry for this.
However the artistical work over the album is not yet finished.
I'm close in getting an agreement with independant UK label Earth Academy Records (yes, those who published "World Wide Kind 2" compilation), and so Andrea Priora will be officially part of the label artist roster, and will produce albums under the label name.
I'll keep informed about more news.

September 2007 news: Back on work on site updating with new evolved infos about the new albums... and of course back on work on "No Ordinary Human -TIS" music! ;-)
Finally updated medley mixes of all remastered albums, included new medley mixes of the 2 albums of "No Ordinary Human -TIS" album. The 160 kbit quality files are in the music/songs section of this site, check them.

July 2007 news: Direct digital downloads of albums are now available in MP3 format at 192 kbit quality.
No DRM protection limits were added, so files are playable on all players. Color files of booklet graphics of albums are included with every download. The download option is present on the updated albums page, together with the option of the purchase of the audio cd (high quality CD-Rs with color booklets, inlays and CD labels).
For the digital release event every album was carefully remastered, and now all albums feature the best quality they have ever had, as on audio CD as on MP3 files.
The demo files and medley mixes on this site (or on linked pages) aren't updated yet. We apologize for that, please we ask you to be patient. They will be updated as soon as possible with files originated from the new mastered recordings..

June 2007 news: "No Ordinary Human -TIS" album project goes on, as fast as possible. However it will see light in a different form respect what planned during the past months, that is no more as a double CD album only. That means that now the album will be split into two separate single CD albums:
"No Ordinary Human TIS - Themes"
"No Ordinary Human TIS - Extended Score"
The first CD will feature most of the tracks with main and strong anthemes composed for the NOH project, while the second CD will feature the rest of the tracks and those which have a more action or scoring feel.
And the project will be distributed around in such version, the two separate albums.
With such form of the project it's not excluded that a third CD of NOH, with new tracks, could come to life during next year.
Anyway a double CD special edition too will be available from this website only, featuring the original planned trackist for the two CDs.
During summer covers, graphics and sleevenotes will be revisioned, and at least the first CD will be ready for the end of september, with the second following soon after.

March 2007 news: Various updating around the pages of this site. New photos section.
New updated medley demo of new album "No Ordinary Human -TIS" are available for download, in "split in two parts" form and in "just one longer file only" 160 kbit MP3 version. (You can find this last one in the music archive section)
Andrea is still working on the album: he had to dedicate to a new complete mastering of the tracks already finished (you can listen to the improvement in the new medley demo), because he is preparing a demo prototype to send to a few music labels for trying to get a deal with them.
However many tracks recently saw life in their final and definitive recording.

September 2006 news: H3O has changed their name into H3O Reaktor, to avoid some confusion and distinguish more their project. Their first album "Emotional Reaction" is available also on our webshop now.
At last the compilation World wide Kind 2 (by UK label Earth Academy Records) had been pressed and published. We will have very soon some copies on our webshop too. We remind you that it contains the track by Andrea "Inverted Polarity -wwk mix".

April 2006 news:
After some months of silence (in all senses I assure) Andrea's music is flowing again. :-)
During January his music DAW completely burnt out, leaving on hold all projects he was working on.
He had to wait almost two months for making it run again, due to the fact he had to get another precise identical mainboard to recover the precious projects of the last two weeks work: that was the only way to get back all the datas on two hard disks.
After that first thing Andrea done with the new DAW was to finalize the new master of the H3O's album "Emotional Reaction" (he was mainly working on that) and sending demos to some european labels.
Meanwhile the game project has sunk again at the source... and this time for good; a pity. But so now Andrea has more time for his next own project: No Ordinary Human, the soundtrack.
He has restarted working on the tracks and some of them are already being rearranged and improved, included also some made originally for the game. For sure this album will contain some of the best ever tracks composed by him.
More, all new music now is coming out through new analog/digital mixer and stuff: infact during the last months Andrea upgraded and evolved his studio stuff to improve as on quality as on easiness of work for better results on all sides. :-)

November 2005 news:
Nothing special to tell. Some postproduction work on H3O's album had to be done.
Andrea has started coworking with a guitarist to play guitar parts on some tracks of "No Ordinary Human, the soundtrack" album... meanwhile he has also started working on doing music for the new development of that Deus Ex MOD.
Finally at last the World Wide Kind 2 project seems to be almost in the pressing phase.

July/August 2005 news:
Simply on vacation.... It's time... and need it a lot.
However in the meanwhile the album of the H3O was finished, and some promotional and test copies were (or are being) distributed. For the full launch of the album we'll see in september.

March 2005 news:
A special album is on sale through Synth Music Direct UK shop: "Dazzles Of Destiny" is a special version of "Flares Beyond My Vision" collection by Andrea. The two collection albums are equal in the concept, share an equal cover (just changed colours, blue for the original and green for the new one) but share only half of the music on it because tracks were chosen differently. This album is available only on SMD.
In the meanwhile H3O's first album "Emotional Reaction" is very very close to be completed. Stay tuned!
Andrea has also started making the soundtrack for an independent videogame: DX Aftermath is a MOD for the sci-fi cyberpunk game Deus Ex, published by Eidos.

January 2005 news:
As you can see a lot of modifications and updates have been made on this website.
Soon it will be available also an online download option for albums on sale.
Meanwhile musical work is a bit on delay, but progressing on H3O's first album.

October 2004 news:
After some silence here some news: we are glad to announce that the new album by Andrea is out, with the final title of "Flares Beyond My Vision", a collection of some of the best tracks from all his past and future albums, containing also some unpublished tracks. You can listen to the medley mixes demo as for previous albums.
The album CD initially is on sale on www.cdbaby.com, while other distributors/stores for USA and UK or Europe will follow soon. The album will also be available for download on iTunes, Napster, BuyMusic, Emusic, MSN Music and many other online digital music services. Stay tuned for updates.

July 2004 news:
Andrea has ultimated the work over the production of his "Best Of Andrea" compilation, featuring tracks from all his albums, including the forthcoming "No Ordinary Human", and two new modern mixes of two of his famous trance-dream hits. The cd will be released after summer.
After summer will be also ultimated the work over H3O's project tracks.
Meanwhile time for holidays has come and Andrea wil get a long pause till september, he needs to relax.

May 2004 news:
WEED: Three new songs were added on 21th May on Andrea's weed page on Weedtunes.com. "I'm Coming To You" from album Destiny, "Inverted Polarity (action mix)" from Neuromantic Visions album and the totally new and unpublished release "No Ordinary Love", that will be part of the next album by Andrea: "No Ordinary Human soundtrack". This last track of the three features the wonderful voice of Vivian.
Meanwhile the project of World Wide Kind 2 compilation is getting near its finalization. For people who doesn't know Andrea's track "Inverted Polarity" will be in this compilation tracklist.

April 2004 news:
Some demo clips were put in the song archive inside "the music" section, next will be also some previews of the next album "No Ordinary Human - soundtrack". Still some tracks have to be completed and others already done need some rework on mixing. Expect soon also a medley mix of part of the album, that will be a double cd release.
Andrea is working and finalizing new stuff of music band H3O: so things are slow but moving well now, thanks to the help by Vivian, their actual vocalist and words co-writer. She already worked with Andrea on his solo projects. All tracks are mainly commercial Trance and Dream genres, with some burst into Progressive and we will not exclude even some House and Hip Hop influenced track. We will see.
As you already probably knowI Andrea has joined a new kind of online music distribution form that is called "WEED". We have put 3 songs to start with this new system, and two are Weed exclusive: new 2004 versions of Andrea's classics "I Believe" and "Beyond My Ice". They are a bit different from what you can remember of these two songs, and we assure they deserve to be heard! ;-)
The weed songs are free for download, and free for listening for the first 3 times...after that you will be asked to pay for them. You can download directly these songs from Andrea's weed page.

March 2004 news:
Andrea worked on some remixes of his old classics, transforming them a bit. "Making mainstream without having to go mainstream" like some fan asked once years ago. "I Believe", "Beyond My Ice" and "I Miss You" are full of new energy and life now. The first two are getting exposed on Weed, the new digital form of online distribution born some months ago but still away from people masses awareness.
Andrea joined Weed on www.weedtunes.com because it's a system that respect the rights of the artists, and it could become a revolution for online distribution and sharing of music files. Artists are paied for every song sell and the file-traders too for sharing the songs they regularly bought. Hope it will not be a hole in the water.

February 2004 news:
We're working about updating and recostrunction of this website, also a webshop for albums is under programming just now, and we are thinking also about a section where to expose some of the graphic works by Andrea.
Andrea is also busy with music on various sides: his own single act "No Ordinary Human soundtrack" tracks and songs of H3O project, together with Nino and Vivian. Shhhh, don't tell anyone, but those three are really developing some big tracks that will really make asses kicked hard on the dancefloors! ;-)
Andrea is also managing how to distribute again his music online. He was very disappointed by some OMD (online music distribution) sites, things didn't go very well for them during last years, and so he's carefully deciding what to do and what to choose. Things seem to morph every week but now it seems that some concrete is about to move now.

News from year 2003 (updated to December 2003):
Well it was a strange year, and for who thought Andrea Priora "musically dead" I reply that he's still alive, and now "alive and kicking" again! ;-)
Technical problems kept off from updating the official website… but anyway a new daily job (that was left a few months ago) prevented to have much time for music and especially to follow the various music websites exposing songs.
Many of these music service sites has fallen toward a slow but ineluctable death, like Mp3.com, while some are still alive (vitaminic or peoplesound.com) but just useless and I considered them as dead since a lot of time.
Meanwhile it was kept working the selling window on cdstreet.com for the last months, I'm about to removing albums from there just because they are not paying what earned…
I looked for another music site where to host songs (full versions or demos) in place of mp3.com… and found one in soundclick.com ('cause it seemed the easiest), but I'm considering also besonic.com and pointing to itunes.com too.
For albums distribution I will use a channel on electronicshadows.com, thru their webshop using Paypal.com secure paying system, but the same system will be put directly also on the andreapriora.com official website.

The music news:
Many things happened this year, just try to think which to start from…
Andrea is an artist in a wide way, not only bond to music… as you may know from his biography he has always been fond about writing also… fantasy or sci-fi stories and novels of course.
Well Andrea has teamed up with another writer, Vivian Stoppa, for the creation and script writing of a sci-fi tv serial, a kind of space cyberpunk genre, and probably it will be translated also as a novel.
Now, you are wondering about where is the music news in this…
well, of course Andrea is also composing a lot of music and themes for this tv serial script, and all this music will translate in a double cd release during the first part of next year, 2004.
"No Ordinary Human - the soundtrack" will contain completely new songs and some old ones readapted just for the serial.
The type of music in this new album will be of various genres, from Electronica and Trance to Movie Soundtracks genre especially. You will be probably amazed by the new direction taken by Andrea.

Meanwhile the musical band project went on, slowly… but went on: a new member has joined and a name was chosen… "H3O" (EicThreeO) will be the name of the act which is for now formed by Andrea, dj Nino and Vivian. Vivian is collaborating as vocalist and as lyrics cowriter, and is doing this also for Andrea's solo projects. As an example two tracks on "Neuromantic Visions" album will be re-released with Vivian's voice.
Another female vocalist is expected to join, but till now all it was limited at just talking… no performances yet were done.
With the adding of help by Vivian the songs already on construction since some months by Nino and Andrea can get now to the final step, post production is going on.
Can't wait to put hands on the final products! :-)

Andrea has already ultimated a new album "Fairy Dazzles". It was a very inspirational month, new tracks were completed in just a very few days while others songs hanging around since months fitted perfectly into the new project, like they were written in a sort of "clairvoyance status". This new album exposes a very recent story of his private life: deep emotions and vibrations that pushed him out of a dark period, to a new dawn of his life and his character. It's an album with romantic, deep, sweet or melancholic songs. The album will be available from the 1st of September 2002.

Andrea has teamed up with DJ Nino to form the basis of a new dance act. First tracks are under development. Anyway they are still looking for the right female vocalist to complete a trio.

The new full length album by Andrea is out now! "Neuromantic Visions": released in February 2002, it represents a new and different work compared to his previous albums: no real trance songs this time, but this doesn't mean there aren't fast tracks on it. There are indeed, fast electronica songs share space with nu-ambient ones, presenting new touches and styles by this artist. A voyage through dreams, emotions, passions and feelings: a deep electro-romantic soundscape experience.

All the 3 previous albums by Andrea were totally rerecorded and remastered, resulting into an absolute better quality than ever been before. Most of the songs were also rearranged and slightly changed (sounds and structure). So now "Destiny", "Beyond My Ice" and "Trance Flares" are totally new exciting experiences to listen to, and we are extremely proud of that. Unfortunately instead, due to technical problems, the release of the new album "Neuromantic Visions" is delayed to beginning of 2002. We are sorry for this.

A couple of new trance-dream songs are under development, however during last periods Andrea is working a lot on rerecording some tracks and ultimating the new album, that will not be entitled "Moonvelvet" anymore. The new title should be "Neuromantic Visions".

New dancefloor remix track: "Beyond My Ice (club mix)".

Andrea is working on vocal versions of some of his old songs: just completed is "I Believe (Take My Hand remix)", featuring the voice of Nina, the goddess of dance, one of the most successfull female artists born on mp3.com. The other two songs almost finished (recorded and in post production phase) are "I Miss You" and "Speed", both from the album "Beyond My Ice". They will feature vocals and lyrics by Claudia Severino: other tracks with her are under development.

Watch out for the new musical project founded by Andrea... it will be called "Moonvelvet". It's not sure yet if this one will be a real musical band or more like Andrea's collaborators gathered together under a common name. Recently Andrea has started colaborations with two other italians artists: the jazz singer Claudia Severino and the keyboard player Danilo Radice.

The finishing work onto next Andrea's album "Moonvelvet" was delayed due to other projects and business. Now it's about to begin again to complete the new masterpiece: as annonced in past, the new album is different from other works, being more ambient electronic and less dancy than previous albums. It will feature also lyrics on many tracks, most made with vocoder. Some tracks from the forthcoming cd are already available online

Andrea is also collaborating for the music soundtrack of a videogame, a cyberpunk version of the very famous Tomb Raider title by Eidos: Tomb Raider Tokyo is being programmed in Japan by Intelligentsia. His track "Inverted Polarity" was already chosen as final title and central action music of the game.
